The Krippenstein Freeride Arena
The Krippenstein Freeride Arena home to the Sekundjagd and the Red Bull White Rush, above the village of Obertraun, is the place to go if you want to try something more adventurous.
It has long been a mecca for ski tourers , piste skiers and freeriders and last year it was voted best off-piste in Europe by Planet snow magazine. It has a number of piste runs including an 11km run – the longest in Austria.
Then, it has a number of variants to the pisted runs, but where this mountain comes into it own is when you venture off-piste.
